My best and worst jobs...

Inspired by Arp's blog entry, I've been thinking a lot lately about my best and worst jobs...

WORST:  I worked in telemarketing for about two days....that stunk.  I had a huge problem with harassing people.  I made one "sale" and I quit later that day.  Yuck.  I worked in the dining hall in college, serving food...I was NOT fond of that one.  I worked overnights ALONE at a convenience store...I did not feel safe at that job.  read more »

the best jobs I've had

Picking the best work experiences I've had is easy.  I enjoyed the work at the time and look back fondly on my memories.  It's the type of experience I hope my children have, at the least.   read more »

The worst job I ever had

 I really hope that my kids don't struggle with employment like I did.  As in doing something fulfilling for an income.  When I look back at my best and worst jobs, it's obvious now that the fulfillment was directly related to my personality and interests.  Like lots of people, I've taken jobs primarily due to the need for income.  Or rather, I wanted to spend money and I didn't have any.  read more »
