Birthmother's Day

As the mother of an adopted child, and because of the fond feelings I have for the baby's birthmother, I can't help but share this.

Thank you so much for that link. I'm sitting here crying. Mother's Day is certainly one of the hardest days of the year...made much better after I had N, though.

Birthmothers I didn't even
I didn't even know there was a "day" for this purpose and only recently stumbled upon it while seeking to find a gift for Mother's Day for the baby's birthmother - or First Mother. When talking about her to the baby I do refer to her as MelissaMommy despite what others say. If she can share her baby, the least I can do is share the title, and the day!
