One of my strangest qualities is that I have to name everything. Or, rather, nickname everything. My better half isn't just "Tim" on any given day, he's Crust, Crusty, Cruster, Crust-O, Crustogigio, Crusticular Homicide, Timber (complete with the voice inflection...TIMMMMMMBERRRRRR), Timbukto, Timsicle, Timbalina, Timmy Cream Cheese, Jumbo, Titty Boy (don't ask), Wrinklemania, Tits-A-Plenty (still don't ask) and even HunkaHunkaBurnin'Love. For those times when he's in trouble, I still refer to the old standby: Timothy.

By (no name please)Just saying it with a particular tone of voice gets the "you've been bad" point across. I am my mother after all.
We do that with the kids.
By TraceyWe have lots of nicknames for the kids...mostly made up from their names, or sung in the boys' favorite songs or rhymes. We also call them whatever they first call themselves (when they start talking, and say their name), and we call them all "buddy", "moko" (spanish for booger), "honey", and "stinky"...
Carlos (my husband), gets called "Dada", "Daddy", "Ca-ca" (from the beginning of Carlos), "honey", "sweety", "Car" and such.
Besides the names that the boys come up with themselves and Moko, I guess we're not really imaginative in that area. We ARE quite creative with making up songs, however.
